Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Absolutely delicious Spanish restaurant with a fabulous selection of food. We ordered a bit too much so they even gave it to us in a takeaway container. Well worth a visit"
"From the moment we stepped in and took in the ambiance and aroma we felt we were in for a delight. And these fine folks delivered! Whether for a refined glass of wine, some gourmet nibbles or delicious dinner, this is a must. We returned again the next night for dinner, the pork knuckle was so sticky and sweet and fell off the bone, the vegetables perfect and the meatballs with almond sauce is delicious."
"We had a lovely meal here. Nice local restaurant, full of locals and families. Very reasonable priced. Give 4 star as the service was a bit slow (10 min+ wait several times for drink orders), and the squid ink pasta was a bit too salty and oily. Everything else was lovely. Meal for 3 plus several rounds of drinks came to 50 euro and they gave us a free tapa too."
"We booked late on Friday afternoon for a table of 15 people, the service was very good, the waiter selected a very good Rioja and was very attentive. The food delivery was timed well, it's was of a very good standard and everyone was very happy. Thank you for the lovely evening"
"Very nice place, food is delicious likewise staff. Food is authentic Andalucían food And once you are in Andalucia why not eat local food? Place to go. One minor issue is that webpage reservations does not work. So call!"
"Really enjoyed it here, busy but a nice buzz. Food was good and the staff were very friendly and even translated something we didn't understand, try the vermouth homemade and delicious"
"I wasn’t going to set ourselves up for anything amazing, the place seemed to be very popular with locals, quite noisy but in a good way. We found a table no bother at all and were seen to pretty quickly with drinks and a menu. We both ordered the beef steak with Spanish potatoes and veg, the stake was cooked medium, which is how we asked for it. I was surprised as to how well it was cooked. So succulent and easy to cut and tender to chew. Really really great meal. Truly is a wonderful restaurant. Service was fast and friendly, I ordered the apple pie as a dessert, and the waiter said it would be 20 mins as it made to order. I was expecting an apple pie slice as you get traditionally, but this was a total surprise it came on time and it could actually be the best apple pie I’ve ever had. It was sliced, bit really thinly like crisp think had a lovely flavour to it and the edge was so crispy and yummy, the more I ate the more I wanted. It was for 2 but my gf couldn’t manage it so I happily took it. Man alive so moreish. If you ever get the chance when in Benalmadena put this lovely restaurant on your list. It won’t let you down. The waiter was superb. We left a tip it was that good."
"The dishes that we ordered were really delicious.( lamb leg and black nudels w gambón). Waiters were also really friendly. I would recommend def."
